Robert Valentine Lowe

My heart hurts for Alyce and Justin, Bob's children. I know they will miss him terribly. My mother and Bob's dad were siblings, so Bob and I were first cousins, and I have lots of great memories from my childhood of our family gatherings. We were a large, often boisterous crowd. Bob was a great guy, and I remember our Aunt Jane and Uncle Ed taking Bob, my brother (Marshall), another first cousin (Johnny), and Bob's brother (Pat) to Duke football games. Marshall always talked about the great times they had together. I have a feeling those four were a handful together. May Bob's children find comfort in knowing he was a good man and that he was loved by many, especially his family.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Bob. We had many fun gatherings at the home place while growing up and these will always be wonderful memories. May God bless each of you with comfort and peace.
