Michael Edward Anderson

Michael Edward Anderson, age 70, of Belton, SC, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at AnMed Medical Center of heart complications.

Born February 23, 1954, in Walhalla, SC, he was the son of the late Henry Grady Anderson and Monikin B. Mize Anderson.

Michael worked in the construction industry until retiring as a concrete installer for Shepard Construction. Known better as “Red” by his friends and family he loved life and lived every minute to the fullest!

He was a giving soul and always brought laughter every where he went. He will be missed greatly by the ones who knew him.

He is survived by a son James L. Anderson,45 of Easley, SC and a brother Mark Anderson,57 of Belton, SC.

At this time no formal services will be held but upon receiving his remains the family will lay him to rest with his mother and father as he wished.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mark Anderson at 212 Belton Farm Rd. Belton, sc 29627.
