Melany Carol Allen

Melany Carol Allen, 59, of Honea Path, passed away on December 19th, at her residence. 

Melany was born on March 5th, 1963, the second child to Frank Thomas Moore and Mildred Ilene Davis Moore. She graduated from Belton-Honea Path High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force. She married James K. Allen in Greenville, SC and lived there until his passing in 2001, upon which she returned to Honea Path with her daughter. 

She is survived by her daughter, Jessie Allen, two brothers, Samuel and Marty Moore, and a sister-in-law, Naona Doty Moore, as well as a niece, a nephew, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Melany always considered herself blessed in the area of family and friends…and we consider ourselves blessed as we receive your kind thoughts and prayers at this time. We are comforted by the knowledge of her reunion with her beloved husband James, her mama ‘Bay’, and her daddy Tom. The family will be remembering her with love privately in our homes and ask that you do the same, while rejoicing in her arrival at her heavenly home.
