Mary Patricia Bracamonte
Mary Patricia Bracamonte was a strong, determined woman— full of life, honesty, and heart. She had an unshakable spirit,a sharp wit, and a deep love for her family, friends, and the many pets who brought her joy over the years. Pat was known for being straightforward and down to earth, always speaking her mind and standing firm in her beliefs. Her sense of humor was quick, clever, and unforgettable — often catching people off guard in the best way and leaving them laughing long after.
Life brought Pat both joys and challenges, but she faced each one with resilience. No matter what came her way, she persisted. She lived boldly and unapologetically, on her own terms, letting nothing hold her back. To know Pat was to know someone who was hardheaded, firm, and fiercely loving — a rare and unforgettable soul.
A shining example of her strength and perseverance was her decision to put herself through school to become a Registered Nurse. It was a calling she followed with dedication and compassion for many years. Her work as an RN not only reflected her intelligence and determination, but also her deep commitment to caring for others — a gift she shared both in her career and in every part of her life.
Later in life, Pat found a deep and abiding love with her husband, Robert Perez. Their bond was something truly special — the kind of love that changes a life forever. Though Robert passed away years ago, he remained a constant presence in Pat’s heart, cherished and remembered until her final day.
Pat is survived by her brother Larry Merrill and beloved sons: Jeff Westlake (Cynthia), Keith Westlake (Kimberly), Chris Westlake (Jlynn), and Charles Hamilton (Angel). Her eldest son Michael Westlake was welcomed into heaven before her, and she now joins him in eternal peace. She is also survived by many grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and acquaintances — all of whom were touched by her warmth and love. Pat had a special way of making everyone feel like family. She never met a stranger and made lasting connections wherever she went.
Throughout her life, Pat opened her heart and home to many. She helped raise numerous children, offering them the same boundless love and care she gave to her own family. Her nurturing spirit touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy of compassion and kindness.
Pat’s memory will live on in the laughter she sparked, the love she shared, and the strength she inspired. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
