As a young pre teen he was my best friend. I loved it when he played ," Lady of Spain". We loved making spook houses playing football and games with the other neighborhood friends. My sister's and I grew up with all the Glasser kids. Great memories. Mark you are deeply missed by your friends and family

My heartfelt sympathy to the entire Glasser family in the passing of dear Mark. I grew up with the Glasser family and knew Mark from a very early age as I was best friends with his sister Kathy…I was the neighborhood kid that spent more time there than my own house…my 2 sisters and I and Kathy and Debi probably annoyed him with all our little girl antics…I have fond memories of of Mark building his own small space capsule (after the first launch into space at Cape Canaveral in the 1960’s)…we all watched as he launched a cockroach into space in the small field behind their house…Quite a memory ! …I also remember him playing the accordion when we all went Christmas caroling one year around the neighborhood ….most of all I remember the Halloween ‘Spook Houses’ we built in his bedroom and charged the neighborhood kids admission to get in…. Thank you Mark for putting up with the neighborhood kid that was always under foot… You are so much a part of my memories with your wonderful family…❤️

Mark was one of those people you meet in life who was a gentle soul, easy going, always had a joke to tell. He had a distinct laugh that is embedded in my mind's ear. I always enjoyed his company. Thoughts are with Pam and Jennifer, and Mark's adoring sisters, Debi and Kathy. I am a better person having known Mark and I am at ease knowing he is no longer in any discomfort. I hope there is something more after all this living on Earth because I would love to see him again and have a beer. Mark told me "you never know what the next chapter holds...."

Mark was the funniest, kindest man I know besides my husband, Mykle, who was introduced to me by Mark. Mark was the best man at our wedding in 1973. His sisters Kathy and Debi meant a lot to him and us, as well as Mom Gloria, the best cook ever. I could go on and on with stories, but suffice to say he brought a lot of joy to this world and will continue to do so in our memories.

I am very sorry for Pam and Mark's children. I was a music associate of Mark. And he enriched my life. He was a good player, with a deep soul and a genuine, even spiritual, reverence for the beauty of music. I am very sad that I did not get to learn as much as I wanted to from dear Mark. He was a mentor for me in music and in life, too. He taught me how to play with others, how to make others sound better. Mark was a good session man who recorded with me on a couple occasions and fit in because that was his gift; he found ways to contribute. I will miss our times when we would just get together with guitars to see what happened, and what did happen was always a blessing and a thrill. Mark loved Texas songwriters. He could play those songs well because he lived the song when he sang it. I remember him for playing moving interpretations of "The Knife" and "Pancho and Lefty, especially. People close to Mark will know that he suffered from a genetically inherited kidney condition that took his father at a young age. Mark bore up under this condition and spent many. many days on dialysis and underwent two kidney transplants. I only mention this to tell you that he was a humble man who accepted this bad deal as part of life and never complained. I treasure the times he told me about this problem because I learned from him how to be humble, accepting and, most importantly, how to pursue a life of gratitude, optimism, and hope. God bless him and all the fortunate people who had opportunities to learn from his example in life.

I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I know - it feels like 1/2 of you is missing. It’s been 2 years since I lost my Mike. Always look for the blessings- hidden and apparent. Be gentle with yourself. We are here to hold you up.
