Donney Wayne Mann

Donney Wayne Mann, 62, of Anderson S.C.  passed away, Thursday, April 9, 2026 peacefully at home surrounded by his family.  Born November 6, in Easley, S.C., he was the son of the late Donald and Wilma Mann.

Donney is survived by his wife, Lisa and daughters, Courtney, Lauren, Rylee, and Emily, his sisters, Donna McGowan (James)  and Kathy Cobb (Stan), his beloved Labrador, Luna,  and many loving extended family members and friends.

Donney leaves behind a legacy of humor, kindness, generosity, and compassion for others.  His greatest joy included serving his wife and family, who were the center of his world.  Donney was an avid fisherman, a grilling master, who loved spending days on the lake, and nights by the fire pit. He loved Nascar races, golf cart rides, and perfecting his lawn.   He was always selfless in his time, efforts, and willingness to help others.

Donney attended Nell Townsend Presbyterian Church.  His faith allowed him to face challenges with certainty.  His faith over fear attitude has provided peace to the family knowing that he is now walking with Jesus free of all pain.

Donney will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but we celebrate the life and time we had together and will continue to celebrate knowing that he is in a better place and left this one better than he found it.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. John Doster and Ms. Sarah Brendle, PA. You were more than caregivers; you were earthly ministers of comfort who walked alongside Donney and his family through every step of his journey.

The family will host a memorial service at Nell Townsend on Saturday,  April 11th  at 2 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
