Charles Stephen Dawkins

March 6, 1945 - March 5, 2025

Charles S. Dawkins, 79, of Anderson, SC passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at TerraBella Marchbanks.

He was born in Franklin Springs, GA and was retired from Owens Corning. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Temple. He was also a member of the (CCR) Carolina Cycle Riders motorcycle group. He loved his family, riding motorcycles, and gardening.

He was the son of Betty Vidos and the late Charlie R. Dawkins.

Surviving are daughter Tina York (Alvin) of GA; sons, Ron Dawkins, Steve Dawkins (Lisa), James Dawkins (Lindsay), Caleb Dawkins all of SC; sister Rosie Chitwood (Scott) of GA, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Gethsemane Baptist Temple, 6116 SC-81, Starr, SC 29684 by Preacher Sam Duncan.
